In this Question Line video, Jason discusses the ISO Unequal Zone (UZ) modifier, which is similar to the Unequally Disposed modifier of the ASME standard. Snow tires and all-wheel drive - are they really necessary? This video compares summer, all-season, and winter tires' performance in the snow, and also discusses the purpose and merits of all-wheel drive. Calculations for tire grip, stopping distance, acceleration, and max incline for each scenario are presented.
