We are excited to showcase our client, Northrop Grumman, today! Northrop Grumman is a global aerospace, defense and security company, and was the prime contractor for developing the James Webb Space Telescope. In this video, mathematician and mechanical artist, Henry Segerman, shows off his recursive gear rack mechanism- a series of interlocking straight gears using a rack-and-pinion mechanism to transmit motion. He has also made the files available if you would like to 3D print your own!
